Femi Ayeni – a Wharton trained entrepreneur, has been a leader in Africa’s entertainment industry since the mid-1980s, when the company he co-founded, Ultima Communications, began manufacturing large C-band satellite dishes in Nigeria for consumer and business use, installing satellite dishes not only across Nigeria but also in Ghana (where they installed for President Jerry Rawlings amongst others), in Cameroon and also as far as Seychelles on the Indian Ocean – where they installed the very first dish in the country, for Radio Seychelles.

The founder and Chief Executive Officer of ULTIMA, Femi Ayeni, has over 30 years experience in the media, telecommunications and banking industries. After an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1985, he worked with both Fidelity Bank and Philadelphia National Bank in Philadelphia. Following his return to Nigeria, he has grown ULTIMA into Nigeria’s premier multinational production organization with offices and affiliates in Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.
