ULTIMA SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH FREEMANTLE MEDIA TO BRING FAMILY FEUD TO NIGERIA
Ultima Studios (Ultima) – the leading reality television programmes producer in West Africa – recently signed an agreement with UK Fremantle Media, to produce the Nigerian version of Family Feud.
Currently hosted in the US by Steve Harvey, Family Feud is one of the longest-running, highest-rated and most loved shows in the world. The format features two fun families, a big board game, a host with a sense of humour, a raft of questions and surveys of 100 people to determine the most popular answers. These two families will go head-to-head, scoring points by guessing the most popular responses to the surveys.
At the signing ceremony, CEO of Ultima Studios, Femi Ayeni said, ‘Ultima Studios is fully committed to ensuring that Nigerians are afforded the same opportunities, to enjoy the most riveting television contents available to the rest of the world, and entering this agreement with Fremantle Media, to produce in Nigeria, the multi-award winning format, Family Feud, is just another display of that commitment.’
