What A Terrific Year We’ve Had at Ultima Limited

At Ultima Limited, 2021 has been a recovery year from the pandemic, as well as the impediments and challenges that came with 2020. It has also been a year of accomplishing seemingly unattainable feats for us.

In line with achieving the seemingly impossible was the remarkable growth of 88.5 UFM, Ultima Limited’s “Pandemic Baby”. The radio station which clocked one on the 1st of November 2021 has also climbed up the rankings table of radio stations in Lagos, rising from the 43rd to 19th in the space of 1 year. This meteoric rise has earned the station the moniker “Fastest growing radio station in Lagos”.

Another major highlight from Ultima Limited’s year has to be the production of Season 1 of Lions’ Den, the world’s No.1 business reality television show, where entrepreneurs pitch their businesses to a panel of five seasoned business owners in the hopes of getting investments. Production for the show spanned across March and April, with broadcast commencing in October 2021.

Our studio spaces were not left out of the action as throughout 2021, we played host to some of Nigeria’s fast-rising artistes, as Ultima Studios became the venue of choice for their concerts, listening parties and even music videos. Ayra Starr’s “Celestial Being,” Buju’s “Sorry I’m Late” album listening party, Johnny Drille’s “Johnny’s Room Live, Lojay’s first-ever music concert and the music video for Burna Boy’s ‘Question’ are some of the notable artiste events that held at our spacious studios.

Still in the spirit of celebrating excellence, Ultima Limited marked its 35th year of being a full-service media and entertainment company. With the great leadership of Mr Olufemi Ayeni and the dedicated management and team members, the organization has consistently turned out unique, engaging material that continue to entertain, educate and inspire.

With how eventful 2021 turned out to be, we are certain that the year has offered a peek into the future and the greatness it holds and we look to 2022 with irrepressible optimism.
